  "For me, Mott The Hoople are tops without a shadow of a doubt. Obviously that would go against the grain, people would say, 'How can they be better than Led Zeppelin or The Beatles?' Maybe they're not, but those bands are already taken care of, so I'm allowed my own little indulgence for the underdog. Mott are the one band I could play all day and every day and never get bored. I still discover things in their records that I missed having played them for 20 years. "
