Rock legend Ian Hunter is to visit Oslo, Norway on Tuesday, January 29th and Wednesday, January 30th. He will perform two very special shows at Sentrum Scene, both to be filmed and recorded for international release on DVD and CD through Universal Music Norway.

The repertoire for the two Oslo shows will be specially selected to showcase Hunter's entire career as songwriter and performer. A band put together with top American and Scandinavian musicians and an 18 man strong string section will join Hunter on stage.

Petter Singsaas, M.D. of Universal Music's Norwegian office, comments: "This is an old dream come through. It is several years since we through producer Bjorn Nessjo approached Ian Hunter with the idea, but at one point we thought it would not materialise. We are very proud that Mr. Hunter has chosen Universal Music and Norway as the arena for the recording of this special career retrospective."
