Two Miles From Heaven was released in 1980, and features rare and unreleased tracks recorded during the Island Record era (1969-1972). This release was compiled by Dale Griffin. The Angel Air CD reissue includes three bonus tracks, including two rare B sides and an alternate version of Movin’ On.

Box Set, 1998

This exhaustive three-disc boxed set was overseen by Dale Griffin in 1998, and is the standard by which all Mott The Hoople compilations are measured. It includes dozens and dozens of rare and unreleased tracks, covering every stage of the MTH career from early incarnations like The Buddies, The Doc Thomas Group, and Silence through the later years of Mott and British Lions. The digipack case includes a 50+ page booklet with hundreds of photos, detailed information about the tracks, and insights from band members.

The first historic release from Angel Air, this two-CD set from 1999 combines two amazing FM broadcasts into a single package. The first disc contains a live concert from the Konserthuset in Stockholm Sweden on 16 Feb 1971, and the second disc features a live show from The Tower Theater in Philadelphia PA on 29 Nov 1972.

Rock and Roll Circus Live, 2000

This CD from 2000 features a live show recorded at Wolverhampton Civic Hall on 6 April 1972 during the band’s famous Rock and Roll Circus Tour. With Ray Major’s band Hackensack in support and a collection of comedians, jugglers, dogs, and knife throwers to entertain during the break, the band played an eclectic set that included several songs that were never committed to vinyl.

This two-CD set from 2001 features three separate live performances, recorded on tour in the USA during 1971, 1973 and 1974. Featuring both the original and later line-ups of the band, this selection provides firm evidence of the band’s in-concert prowess. Disc one also contains four demos from 1969-72, including songs that were never properly reocrded by the band.

This CD from 2006 features a rampaging live show from Mott The Hoople recorded in July 1970 at the legendary West Coast venue during the band’s first US Tour. Also included in this live collection are four tracks recorded at the Fillmore West during Mott The Hoople’s second US Tour in June 1971. These vibrant, compelling live recordings are an important historic document as they provide a fascinating snap shot of Mott The Hoople performing live at such an early stage of their career. The disc also contains a bonus instrumental studio track from 1969.

On the 13th Sep 1970, the first-ever attempt was made to capture Mott’s feral stage act on tape at The Fairfield Halls, Croydon. Recorded on The Who’s state-of-the-art portable eight track machine, these recordings are the Holy Grail to the legions of fans who lamented the live album that never was.

The four disc reprice the material from three other Angel Air releases (Fairfield Halls Croydon 1970, All The Way From Stockholm To Philadelphia, and Two Miles From Live Heaven) and is limited 2,000 copies.
